Tom is heading the Editorial vertical of QBS Learning. He has more than 30 years of experience in education, having started his career as a classroom teacher before transitioning to educational publishing. He has headed up editorial departments as Associate Publisher at National Geographic/Hampton-Brown and VP, Content Development at Wright Group/McGraw-Hill, with responsibility for creating hundreds of supplemental titles as well as comprehensive programs for PreK-12. As Director of Content Development, Humanities at MPS NA, Tom gained valuable experience leading development on the vendor side. In addition, Tom was Professional Books editor at Staff Development for Educators, a division of Highlights, where he developed several innovative series of best-selling books for teachers. Tom holds a BA in English from Haverford College and an MA in Children’s Literature from Simmons University.
